In the first 8 minutes of Stranger Things the aesthetic is really dark and negative. I can see a man wearing a white uniform with a stethoscope around his neck. This makes me suggest that he is a doctor. I can also see a group of kids playing a game in the basement. The connotations of this is that the man could be a big part of the series as doctors are important for health and security. The group of kids that are in the basement tells me that they are up no good and on top of that they are playing a game which could be good but most likely going to be bad or they are playing a scary game. The basement also gives a weird creepy vibe and the set up makes me feel uneasy.
