The connotations of this is that the man could be a big part of the series as doctors are important for health and security.   In the advert, the young boy's face expression connotes that he ls exausted and disappointed. The advert uses the young boy's face expression to grab more attention for the viewer. This connotes the boy's desperation for water and gives the viewer a hint to donnate money to the brand. This is effective because it gives a sense of sympathy for the audience making them donnate and help the people the boy is represtenting. The advert also has a background with hot weather and not much and the house behind the boy doesn't seem very strong. this connotes the idea that this boy and the people in the same or similar environment as him have no proper or basic resources to survive. This is effective because it gives the audience a sense of pity, this makes them want to make a difference in these peoples lives and thats how they choose to donate.
